My husband was kind enough to get me a beautiful bos it's leather bound, but it's soft leather, with a suede like feel to it. so when i lay it open it stays open. I'd try to remember, but my memory is crap (i'm only 24, but still suffer from CRS Can't Remember Sh*t). When I'm working with daily devotions or spells I try to memorize what I need to, but for this I was thinking of something a little more ..... um what's the word? ...... I guess just longer. I've got this printed inside the front cover of my BOS as kind of a reminder every time i open it. Next year at this time I'll write something different and add it to the page this is on.

I'm with you Lavender, I prefer the shorter ones that are easy to memorize. I guess it just feels more powerful if I'm not having to read it aloud from a page. I can focus more on the energies I am using than trying to decipher my handwriting by candlelight.
