New Moon Spread
On the New Moon of each month many Tarot readers will draw their cards for a month to see how perhaps their month will go, if there are any challanges, or obstacles we will need to face for the month etc.
Basically, the moon moves through various cycles, one being the full moon, with which we are all familiar. This spread helps us identify the issues and situations we will need to address during each lunar cycle. It is important to conduct this spread on the date of the New Moon in each month. Each card represents a week in the lunar cycle, as the moon moves through each aspect.
This spread seems to run with the cycles of the Moon, and you can look forward to events or situations developing with each phase of the Moon. If you are unsure of the Moon Phases you can always view them to left of the Site under 2002 Moon Phases. Ask the question "What can I look forward to this month?"
Position 1
~ On the New Moon ~ This card will represents new beginnings in your life. That which is new and different coming up in your life.
Position 2
~ The Second Quarter of the Moon ~ This card will show the situation in progress & how it looks to you. At this point, you are in the midst of the situation and this is what it looks like.
Position 3
~ The Full Moon ~ This will show how the situation has manifested & what the situation will evolve into.
Position 4
~ The Fourth Quarter of the Moon ~ This card will be a time for reflection & how you might feel about the situation.
Position 5
~ On the next New Moon ~ The Moon has come full circle and this card represents the completion of the issue or situation. It is now a time for new beginnings and may give a hint of what is to come. And, then it's time for a NEW MOON spread again.
