Sorry I am late with these draws this week guys. Hubby is home for 12 days on holidays so I have to restructure my schedule for that. *S* and then Mom went to the dr yesterday. Wasn't really good news. She thinks that she will probably need some kind of heart surgery. Her blood pressure is really high and so is her cholesteral. Dr. has doubled up her blood pressure meds and has given her some Lipator and then some happy pills for her depression. She had to get a chect xray yesterday and is now waiting for the dr to send her to a cardiologist. Light some candles if you can and say a little blessing.
Thank you. She was given some antidepressants but she says she doesn't want to take them. She goes to a support roup that hospice puts on once a month to help her deal with Dad;s death and the hospice lady who is a liscenced physcologist I guess says she doesn't think Mom is any more depressed than anyone else. But sometimes drs just give out pills when they don't really want to look very deep into stuff.
Sorry to hear that your Mom is going through such a rough time. I will keep her in my prayers. You gotta love doctors...I think the solution to every problem is to give out pills. When are they going to start looking at the underlying problems? Guess the doctors and big pharmaceutical companies don't make as much money that way. I am glad that she is going to a support group, I am sure that it will do her much more good than any drugs.
