For CF to post that list of alternatives they promised, it's quiet in here they're not closing groups till feb so we are ok untill then  |

Most are migrating to either Ning or Multiply....both are okay..not like this of course. Ning I'm still figuring out the in's and out's on.... With all the issue's that we've had with msn over the years..a move can be such a good thing! |

Never heard od Ning is it blog like??? I'm not crazy about that blogs always get me frazzled  |

Later, after sending the above post, I started a new ning group for my MSN group, Inner Journeys. I found so much more that I can do with Reboot Your LIfe! Now I have to go back and tweak it.
I am going to have the asst managers as monitors or administrators on ning and have them copy and paste info from MSN to the forums on ning.
I set up different forums for different topics:
General
Healing and Prayer Requests
Divination
Native American/Shamanism
You get the idea. You can have as many forums as you wish and have them show up on the lefthand side the same as in MSN. I even have some videos posted in the new group which we didn't have on MSN. There is even a chat!!!!!!!!!!!! (I don't have that yet on the Reboot Your Life, but I plan to.
I like it so much better than a lot of our other options, especially multiply. I have heard so many complaints about that. I decided not to even fool with it after I signed up.
Just wanted to let you know some other options before you settle on one. You have time yet.

I"m cancelling all groups on ning...you have to sign in each and every time you want to reply to a post...plus I can't get to the other groups unless I sign out and re-sign back in..just too much trouble for me. Aimoo is another good place...I've joined one group over there and like the forum style... |

I'm trying yuku, I already tried multily and did not like that one lol I think that if you or any of the other managers want to try different places, play around, get a opinion, then we can compare notes and pick the right place, we have time and I'm still waiting for CF and their list, sooner or later though were gonna have to redo the pages get them saved to our pc's or stored somewhere safe.....this just stinks!!! SO much work, threads, info! This is gonna take alot  Am I just a worry wort or what???? |
