Irina's Exhibition Do you know, can you see What fuels the artist's need? Have you a glimpse of the Fragile inspiration That shapes within a soul An all-consuming seed, Driving roots into the Secret home of passion Where it grows in the glow Of all the love you feed, Straining the flesh in it's Tension of creation Until the blossoming Truth unforseen is freed? Has your eye ever touched The heart of a vision?
Author Dyn Llwyn Ist The sorry life of a Pessimist is filled with smug antithesis to all grand dreams; with nothing risked deny their chance for happiness. No happier is the Realist who runs through life without a quest except to make it through the test of Life's travails, and finally rest. Serenely lives the Fatalist no turmoil burns within his breast: no free will, hopes, or passion's zest; for all's pre-writ in Fate's own list. Contrariwise, a Pragmatist will work with all life's many twists to forge a cage where they exist with little pain and less that's bliss. will work with all life's many twists to forge a cage where they exist with little pain and less that's bliss. I'd rather be an Optimist; although it hurts each time I've missed, I still will try, for I insist: 'Tis better to lose than never be kissed.
Dyn Llwyn - 28 July 2000 Just Know so many times throughout each day i'd like to let you know how everything you do and say can make my troubles go. i fear i'd sound a manic mess to babble constantly about the peaceful happiness our closeness brings to me. so i'll say these few plain words and no hidden schemes employ : just know that knowing you're my true friend lights up my world with joy.

Dyn Llwyn - 16 August 2000 Life Is We exist in a cloud, Shadowy mists swirling 'round us, A landscape of specters, half-seen, then gone. Illusion rules the senses. Madmen claiming clear vision Bark wildly at shadows cast within. Others pass determinedly down highways Of their own choosing, their sightless eyes Never noticing the meandering path Leads toward a phantom goal. Some stand never moving, never trying, Lost and fearful in a chilly isolation Of their own construction. Most simply blunder through the fog, Crashing aimlessly one into the other, Hoping to find a friendly soul To share their loneliness. Sometimes, one finds one Who is not just another With whom to share space, But rather, together spark a fire within; It's glow stripping away the dim mists, While the warmth shared frees them, And the radiance illuminates their lives. And although others may not see, The healing flames shared Are reason enough to keep on trying. And sometimes, the flame is so bright, It will burn for Eternity. by Dyn Llwyn - 23 October 2000 Mountain Dawn Rocky knots that glittered icily in the moonlight only moments before melt in glowing warmth, with the rising of the Sun. The change takes but an instant as the first rays kiss crystalline flakes left over from yesterday's cooling, stiffened by the night's numbness. Steam billows forth, filling the stark folds of the rock and softening their frozen appearance. As the fiery heart rises higher, banishing the false hidden secrets<BR? darkness with each passing instant, the brilliance of it's shining illuminates the true beauty and structure of the world's frame. For once touched by the warmth and light, nothing ever remains the same by Dyn Llwyn ~ 21 July 2000 For Mother's Day Guiding you the day you first walked, Giving you words when you first talked, Comforting when darkness loomed, Nurturing you 'til you bloomed, Taught the proper way of living With honesty and unselfish giving. More than all ways you can think of, Mothers are the source of pure love.
Author Dyn Llwyn My Treasure it hangs above the mantelpiece, in view from every chair, and every one who visits me can see it hanging there. there's nothing else that can compare; it is my greatest treasure, and seeing it upon my wall fills me with quiet pleasure. I need but gaze upon it when I feel I need a guide; it's penetrating beauty leaves my soul nowhere to hide. the tenderness I see within the confines of it's frame can fill my eyes with sudden tears, all in compassion's name. it's tranquil luminosity inspires me with song to fill my heart with joy enough to last the whole day long. and when I'm feeling sorely crushed, down-trodden by a crowd, I need but view it in my mind to make me laugh out loud. it's not some lofty portraiture commissioned by a king, or grand cathedral frescoe showing angels taking wing, no masterpiece of renaissance, nor mighty landscape view; it's just a simple wooden frame, and photograph of you
by Dyn Llwyn - 22 August 2000 Rain I love to walk on cloudy days and pray that it will rain. To all who Love to walk in it, the benefits are plain. The one I love once showed me how the rain was Nature's treasure, replenishing the Earth with life, our hearts filled to full measure. The rain became our special friend while our Love did expand, encompassing both of our lives we walked on, hand in hand. We relished all the gentle gifts that followed our Spring showers: the crisp, cool air, the fruit so sweet, the fields abloom with flowers. The downpour saw us speak of much that burdened both our souls, and showed each other Life's deep scars that Love takes for its tolls. So many talks we had in rain: of Love, of Life, of leaving, and what a solace rain can be when someone's heart is grieving. For one last thing she taught of rain before she had to go: that if it's raining hard enough, my teardrops never show.
by Dyn Llwyn - 3 August 2000 Raven On wings of night the raven flies to seek the light he knows exists beyond the sky of his domain he can but try as best he can a path to find unto his goal he is resigned to spend his life that he'll obtain the proper route though search in vain it may result for guide he uses only love the course he chooses with his heart the way cannot reside, he knows at any spot one can define but rather must be something felt so all his trust his dream he gave across the banks of cloudy isles in solemn ranks or wild stream in every place his passion leads a single trace he searches for he came upon a dove one day who brightly shone with her own flame within her eyes he saw himself a soul who tries to seek the truth with sudden inspiration's flash he saw within each of their hearts the path he sought at last was found and her light brought his soul to joy but she was still on her own quest to try and fill her life's own needs so even though they are apart they also know their souls are joined so he awaits the light's return and contemplates the joy he's found for when her journey finds an end and then once more returns the dove he'll softly sing the song he's learned and fold his wings around his love.
