I offer you a Simple Tail<o:p></o:p>

That will live eternally.<o:p></o:p>

I'll speak to you of timeless love,<o:p></o:p>

I'll sing of magic things,<o:p></o:p>

For I am just a poor man,<o:p></o:p>

With naught to give a queen.<o:p></o:p>

Diamonds, pearls and rings of gold,<o:p></o:p>

Are treasures not of mine,<o:p></o:p>

I offer you a simple tail,<o:p></o:p>

Of a love as old as time.<o:p></o:p>

The tale was written long ago,<o:p></o:p>

Of a man of simple means,<o:p></o:p>

Who'd given all he had to give,<o:p></o:p>

To fulfill his only dream.<o:p></o:p>

Within a mighty palace,<o:p></o:p>

On a mountain dark and cold,<o:p></o:p>

There lived a lonely princess,<o:p></o:p>

A heart as pure as gold.<o:p></o:p>

And take her far away,<o:p></o:p>

Beyond the cold, cruel fortress,<o:p></o:p>

To a peaceful, tranquil place.<o:p></o:p>

It happened all so long ago,<o:p></o:p>

And though the castle's gone,<o:p></o:p>

The special kind of love they shared,<o:p></o:p>

Somehow still lingers on.<o:p></o:p>

From a poor man to a princess,<o:p></o:p>

I give this tail to you,<o:p></o:p>

For within this simple story,<o:p></o:p>

Is an age-old love, still true.<o:p></o:p>
