WORLD PEACE   Looking at the world Feeling people’s anger, hate, fears My heart feels heavy So much conflict And so many questions yet no answers When will we learn That violence does not solve anything? Are we so overpopulated that a war is the only way? Have we not seen what it does? Is Power so important that we let it all go?   We come from different cultures�?so what? Do we not all have hearts that feel? Is it okay for the "powers" to send our children to fight and die? And for what or who?   Are we not supposed to work towards Peace for all? Peace means Love not war�? At least in my book. We judge others so easily But we do not walk in their shoes.   Accept each other for Who we are Not what we can or cannot do for others Everyone should have a choice To decide what is RIGHT for us as individuals As well as RIGHT for all of mankind.   But it seems we do not have a "voice" Like sheep to the slaughter We follow the "powers" that deem it right To destroy not just ourselves But the world, with weapons unspeakable!   Stand up and speak out !
