Once the scales fall from your eyes with a loud kurplunk, once you get some "learnin'" about this N thing and therefore some detachment, you discover these people are the most predictable creatures on the earth. Well, maybe cockroaches are a little more predictable, ants-things like that.
They have their little psychological routines to which they adhere rigidly, their unvarying agendas, their stale motivations and needs. Like Ecclesiastes, there's nothing new about them under the sun. But you have to really get your head around them before you can see that. Once you do though-it's just "there they go again." |
