Hello, I am healing from interaction with a N. The information I have retained has been incredible, and I am recognizing some of the strongest indicators of this disease. Despite how we speak of the N/disordered person, I realize that these persons are the most damagedand the most loneliest. Despite there fantastical representation of a together/fulfilled life. In terms of obsession in a Narcissistic/disorder perwson, I am curious aboutthe relevance of it. Does the narcissistic person become obsessive in terms of there target? I have been NC for a long while. But to sill the deal, I had to make some dramatic changes to block further contact on the disordered person's behalf. A bit extreme to me, but I guess necessary! Thanks, Akosha,

Hi,!

Thank you for postinh your reply. Since posting this question, I have conducted my personal research, and learned that obsession can be a factor demonstrated  by a narcissist.
I believe that the first indicator, which is very pravalent in a NonNarcissitic person, (is that a actual word?) is idolization.
I think it's fair to say that we all have someone/s we idolize. But, this idolization moves to obsession when interacting with a person of a low self-image.
I wish you the best in terms of handling your steppdaughter!
