sure wished you could have been at my house Sunday -
A friend asked me how it went. I had about 10 people - yard party - bbq type of thing.
My answer to my friend . . . . . . "It went fine except my mother came"
I don't work a 70 hour week but was non-stop from 10am till nearly 10pm all the same.
Some how, a day later, (yesterday), i found myself depressed; i mean, i've been dealing so well with her over the past few mos. since daddy died (on New Year's Day). Prior to Christmas, i had not seen or spoken to my mother in over 4 mos. - - so his passing threw me into relationship with her again. With God's grace and a very supportive counselor, i've done pretty well. But Mother's Day knocked me under the water when i wasn't expecting it.
