The best thing to do is do your research- read everything to the left- all of it- it really helps to be clued up. Keep reading until you understand why it's important to you to get this toxic person out of your life. Then get out and go NC. NC meaning no contact. It's the best thing for you. It will help you to heal. Be prepared. It won't be easy for a while, it will test your strength. But it will get better, I promise.

Thank you for responding. I read all the information to the left and OMG my eyes popped open. For over a year I couldn't figure out what went wrong. He was so nice for 3 months. He got me hooked. I left a 17 yr.marriage for him.

 

Now he yells at me, I am always wrong, I have to be quiet, I can't ask him how his day was, we do everything he wants, I cry and he tells me to behave, I want to go somewhere he wont go, he decides when where and how we eat.

 

OMG.So now how do I get over this man who is toxic.  You are great. thanks for responding.
