I found that excerpt a bit chilling, as it seems written from a knowing and telling-it-as-it-is stance.  Thanks, it is appreciated. I may well buy the book, not to save myself, as I have done that through NC (and after three years I am feeling much, much better), but I am interested in this facinating subject of narcissism, beyond my experience of it, and I think that this is one of my final stages through the trouble, which I can see a time when it is all behind me and I have lost interest.
