that article i posted (co-depend site) and found really explained alot to me as yall always do. one thing comes to mind is that i have been on this rollercoaster and now am able to really predict his behavior.it is like i have ESP.
rem i recently N-dipped but i quickly went back to NC-however i learned on this LAST dip that this man is not good for me---his house is way to COLD for me (not talking about temperature) and he seems so fragile..i felt such strength seeing him as such a drama queen...constant drama surrounds him...i quickly got out for the stove was HOT this time. so i put up that brick wall by my fence outside to make it more beautiful -not looking so ugly as before when he was out of town.i just knew there was a punishment in store for me...i waited...... over the weekend he was out of town & he contacted me and left a message he was wondering how his son is doing at home alone & for me to please stay around this weekend incase he has a wild party------i quess he wanted me to spy.(SUPPLY)for i can see his home from my home. this call came in sat starting at 10pm there were many missed calls after that x5....
what was the real reason of the call???
control over me?
or the child?
i didn't call back.puishment lerking................. well he must have seen the wall on sunday am at his return..cause i noticed as i was leaving for work yesterday @ 3a he was pulling into his driveway...i think he was out with whoever or did he want to punish me & he needed ego boast with whoever...SUPPLY...i knew it was going to happen that night---a prediction! for it has happened so many times before whenever i would take my LIFE back....he would act out. apparently he has dumped the olde OW he cheated on with me before or perhaps he has gotten more cleaver to hide his car from her apartment when he goes over there cause she is gross..(bad SUPPLY in public, good SUPPLY behind closed doors)...the rollercoaster repeats..........................hopefully i will never get on again....the ride is getting colder and i can feel the temp now>>>>feedback please.
i am going to join the new site today.
see yall..............................i say to myself every day....something i learned here:

"never make someone a priority who considers you only an option"

"our greatest strengths come from our greatest weaknesses"

You wrote, "apparently he has dumped the olde OW he cheated on with me before or perhaps he has gotten more cleaver to hide his car from her apartment"

You are driving by the apartment of the OW, looking to see if his car is there?

THAT is also N dipping.

i have not looked at the ole ow apartment in months...esp after i saw her in public. i told him how pathetic it was for him to use her. i have a cousin who lives by her & she told me she never sees his car there. really it doesn't bother me if he goes there now cause that just proves what a lier he is--he told me it was over and i believed him cause it would look too pathetic for him to continue with her...thanks for the feedback.

Allowing your cousin to report about what he is (or isn't) doing is N dipping by proxy. Tell your cousin you don't want to know. Tell anyone who ever mentions his name to you that if they continue to bring up his name, you will hang up or get up and leave. And then do it. If anyone continues to bring him up to, end the relationship. NC can't really work for you if you don't take it seriously.

You built a brick wall but won't change your phone number?  What is the point of a brick wall if he can call anytime he feels like it?

What is this punishment stuff?  How can you be punished by someone you are supposedly not in contact with?

Sorry, eyes, I'm not even sure what your question here is.

perhaps i did not make myself clear. it is not that i am punished it is that he thinks he is punishing me by the behavior. somehow i once read that when they lose control over us they must act out to justify--a rage of some sort. they either cheat, make you look bad etc. this increases their ego and then they feel superior. and they are very impulsive with this rage too. i rem my xn saying that he cheated so fast when he was mad at me that he woke up and regreted it---FOR ONE SECOND PERHAPS> and before i let on to the cheating he got very paranoid-----------------------------weird. i notice during the period after the screw up he gets schizo paranoid. what is this about. this is what i mean very predictable. i am getting over him, but i am interested in this conept of the period which they feel they are loosing us when we are being strong. my friend told me one day i will be able to walk outside and not need a wall...for then i will be naturally indifferent...but i do understand what you are saying. thank you.

Why are narcissists not prone to suicide? Simple: they died a long time ago. They are the true zombies of the world. Read vampire and zombie legends and you will see how narcissistic these creatures are."

FIRST, there is a craving for Narcissistic Supply - and then the hunt. The narcissist pursues women not because he finds them attractive, appealing, possible soul mates, or sexual partners. He pursues women because he needs his drug. He is an energy and attention vampire and women are the best sources of this much-desired elixir.

But when a vampire tick attaches themselves to you, in whatever form, then you have to be careful. The best way is to apply a lit match to their body and that will make them release their head that is embedded in your skin. Without becoming cynical, I can recognize true friendliness that is not exploitive.

The narcissist is, thus, often described by others as "robotic", "machine-like", "inhuman", "emotionless", "android", "vampire", "alien", "automatic", "artificial", and so on. People are deterred by the narcissist's emotional absence. They are wary of him and keep their guard up at all times.

I always think of myself as a machine. I say to myself things like "You have an amazing brain" or "You are not functioning today, your efficiency is low". I measure things, I constantly compare performance. I am acutely aware of time and how it is utilized. There is a meter in my head, it ticks and tocks, a metronome of self-reproach and grandiose assertions. I talk to myself in third person singular. It lends objectivity to what I think, as though it comes from an external source, from someone else. That low is my self-esteem that, to be trusted, I have to disguise myself, to hide myself from myself. It is the pernicious and all-pervasive art of unbeing.

People find the arcissist "cold", "inhuman", "heartless", "clueless", "robotic or machine-like".

Continue to read this article here (click on this link):

The narcissist is a machine which never rests, not even in his dreams, and it has one purpose only - the securing and maximization of Narcissistic Supply.

Continue to read this article here (click on this link):

Narcissists often strike their interlocutors as "machine-like", "artificial", "fake", "forced", "insincere", or "spurious". This is because even the narcissist's ostensibly spontaneous behaviours are either planned or automatic.

Continue to read this article here (click on this link):

The over-valuation and devaluation cycles are mere reflections and derivatives of these ups and downs of the narcissist's pools of energy and flows of supply. Efficient (that is, abrupt) energy shifts are more typical of automata than of human beings. But then the narcissist likes to brag of his inhumanity and machine-like qualities.
