Yay GN!!! I am so happy for you! I work in the dental field too, and find that you become like a family in the office. I just changed jobs last week to get away from the n boss, and the new office is super.

Thanks, Had Enough.  The young lady who hired me (the orthodontist) is so sweet. 

 

I'm 500 miles from my 27 year old daughter and 1,000 miles from my 29 year old daughter-in-law . . . 

 

This gal is 30.  She has a 3 year old daughter. 

 

So, she might not be mine, but she's a nice young lady, and I've been missing my own two.  God is good.

That young woman is very nice, and I took her to be pretty intelligent too.  I think I'll enjoy working with her. 

 

The last job I had -- looking back on it, I can laugh, but when I was there, I sure wasn't laughing.  My boss liked to hunt hogs.  And he had a GIGANTIC hogs head on the wall.  Yeah!  Every day I had to look at the head of a 280 lb. dead hog.

Thank you, NewStrength.  Yes, the hog's head is funny now, but last year at this time it wasn't.  He had two deer heads on either side of it too.  He bought a filing cabinet for "me."  I was surprised when he and one of the crew carried in an upright locker that was about 8 feet high.  ??  Filing cabinet?  They removed the shelves.  And he loaded about $30k worth of guns into it.  (He has kids at home and wanted the guns out of there.)  He said I could use the "filing cabinet" when he got done with it.  If there is a hog or deer anywhere in the vacinity, he will never be done with that "filing cabinet."  LOL 

 

And ditto on what you said, Amora.  God is good.  Everyday God is good.

Woo hoo GN! Sorry I'm so late on the congrats. My job has kept me buried here lately.

Yep.  They will whiten my teeth for free.  And clean them.  And fill them.  And do whatever needs to be done.  I've got a gap between my two front teeth.  I had it filled about 10 years ago.  It cost $400 then.  It's weakening and will need to be replaced within another year or so.  I wonder what that would cost today if I had to pay for it?  As I recall, it took the dentist about 15 minutes.  And probably $0.75 in material.  LOL  I'll bet it goes for $600 today.
