 The best market of course is Fulton's fish market,  a landmark of the South St seaport.  A great place to eat as well.  Once when I was there,  they were filming the movie "Wall Street" - yes,  a very long time ago... so I'm dating myself......lol..

 

There is always the chance of seeing someone famous when you're in New York too. I HAVE!  - Actually, I think I'll save that info for another article...
