TV's funny man Vic Reeves is here today to talk about his autobiography Me:Moir a clever pun on his real name, his real name is James Moir, and he adopted his pseudonym after singers Vic Damone and Jim Reeves.
Born in Leeds, although he grew up in Darlington, Vic married Nancy Sorrell whom he met while filming. They have just become proud parents of twins.
Once a popular voice-over man, his part in the Churchill car insurance adverts was hastily re-voiced by another actor after he was involved in a drink-driving accident in March 2005 and banned from driving for 32 months.
He is also remembered for his 1991 hit "Dizzy" with The Wonder Stuff.
