Here I am back on the banks of the River Thames for this years Henley Festival of Music and the Arts. This consists of five incredible evenings of music, comedy, dance, street theatre, fireworks, art exhibitons and fine dining along the river side. The festival continues its tradition of attracting everything, from the biggest international stars to the smallest most quirky acts on the scene.
This year's programme includes, Vanessa Mae who performed on the floating stage last night. A spine chilling performance, in which she struggled to keep on her skimpy top which actually resembled a scarf. All that aside, she succeeded in wowing the audience.
Artsist also on the bill are Rick Astleigh who seemed to disappear after his 80's fame, Evelyn Glennie, and many more. The best for me will be 'The Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain', who cover anything from Ennio Morricone to Nirvana.
Well as there are three life like gorillas heading my way, I will sign off and let them pull some other unsuspecting festival goer to the floor. I hope all goes down well, as it is 'THE' black tie and evening gown event. I do not know how a lady wearing this years designer number will feel being mauled by a mammal!
