This evening the residents of the tiny Oxfordshire Village Bampton are buzzing with excitement, for tonight their church, The Church of St Mary the Virgin will be having a very special guest. It's none other than HRH The Prince of Wales! Rumours are rife, that Prince Charles may bring Camilla (his new wife) but I have my doubts, too little security is a give away!
Charles is here tonight as Patron of the charity set up in 1989, Muisc in Country Churches, where rural churches of exceptional beauty are holding concerts to raise funds for essential repairs.
At exactly 7.30 pm, not a minute more or less, he arrives and is greeted by a group of small children waving their Union Jacks. After Charles noted and rants at the media, he seemed somewhat relaxed in the warm summer air. Lets hope the concert raises a lot of money for the church.
