Simon Callow is one of the UK's best loved actors. He made his film debut in Amadeus and also starred in A Room With A View, but he is probably best known for Four Wedddings and A Funeral.

Today he is in the play Present Laughter, by Noel Coward. One of Callow's most famous quotes is 'My importance to the world is relatively small. On the other hand my importance to myself is tremendous!' We are reminded of this as he talks with enthusiasm about his role in the sell-out play. He has proven how easily he has evolved from film star to actor.
