In the club marquee tonight on the next to the last evening of this years hugely successful festival,  I am delighted to be watching The Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain. Warm, funny, slightly absurd, but definitely very funny.

You may never think about music the same way again, once you have heard the 'Ukes' extraordinary musicology.  They cover songs from Charlie Parker to Nirvana, from Johann Sebastian Bach to the Sex Pistols.  Their performance is packed  tonight, even covering the theme to The Good The Bad and The Ugly with wind and tumble weed effects!

 

Given a standing ovation,  you feel as if they have taken you on a world tour of music, with only a small piece of hand luggage. Look out for them playing at a festival near you! It's an experience not to miss.
