Julian Clary and fellow pantomine cast members got together at the Guildhall in Northampton to wish everyone a Merry Christmas four months early!

The popular comedian and television presenter will be playing The Spirit of The Bells in the panto Dick Whittington.

Clary said, "It might be the height of the Summer but we are already turning our thoughts to panto, mince pies and glitter!"

Julian is no stranger to controversy though, when in 1993 an off the cuff extremely x-rated remark made at the British Comedy Awards led to numerous channels banning him. But he perservered and has once again become a household favourite.
