I don't know what more I can tell you about these guys except they are one of the best live bands I have seen. They have attracted a hard core following, and at every gig there still are 'HD virgins' as John Wheeler lead singer/fiddler and guitarist says.
They are in the middle of an extensive tour of Europe and the UK again ending up in the wilds of Scotland for their own festival called Loopallu in Ullapool...work that one out for yourself!
HD are always great for photos, and always accessable to the fans after the gig finishes. They say, 'We want to thank each and everyone of you for coming personally' and they do!
I am now nearing my 20th HD concert and another one tonight but I will spare you another report!
Covering songs from 'Highway to Hell', 'Fat Bottomed Girls', 'Big Balls' and traditional Bluegrass songs given the rockgrass treatment, there isn't a still foot in the house. If you get the chance please do see them, you won't regret it!
