A treat for all Dr. Who fans! David Tennant, who is currently appearing in the play 'Look Back In Anger' at the Theatre Royal Bath, has just been announced as the new Dr. Who replacing Christopher Ecclestone.
Born in 1971 in Bathgate, West Lothian, he later graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
Excited about his new role, Tennant, as probably most actors who have played the part, has always been a Dr. Who fan. And this role certainly won't do his career any harm!
His acting credits include the extremely popular TV series Casanova, Barty Crouch in the Harry Potter movie The Goblet of Fire and The Quatermass Experiment.
He is a charming man and a great choice for the new Dr Who. Look out for him on your TV soon, if youre not too busy hiding behind the sofa from the daleks!
